Just wanted to add some news. I have found a couple of people interested in playing Battletech and we are setting up a possible game for September the 15th. Anyone interested shoot me a email at jerichomage@yahoo.com even if you just want to sit in and watch to get a feel for the game. Who doesn't love giant robots fighting each other!!!!!!

Just curious, is anyone still playing Mechwarrior or Battletech these days? Haven't played in 20 years but would be interested in starting up again. Any thoughts or ideas?  Local games any where? Sorry if this is posted in the wrong spot. Thanks.

Thanks for the info Duane. Any chance you know what happened in 4th? I read one of R.A. Salvatores books that after the Orc King established his kingdom  in the North that a lot of people moved out of the region and wound up in Nesme and that the city swelled from six thousand to fifteen thousand if memory serves me correct. This was great news for me and was hoping to hear more. If anyone knows of a 4th edition book with maps or info on Nesme or the area around Silverymoon or the Trollmoors that would be great. Thanks in advance.

I hear you "G". I  have been playing D&D for about twenty years and I wasn't really interested in hearing people "BASH" 4th, I was more interested in points of disinterest.  I agree with the point of, I like 3.5 so I play 3.5, you like 4th so you play 4th and we both go our merry way. So hopefully I won't get any Trolls here and just people with honest mature points of view.

I was just wondering for all of those out there that did not go to fourth edition, like myself who instead stayed with 3.5 or Pathfinder. Did you try 4th like me and find you didn't like it, heard you wouldn't like it or refused to switch? I was just wondering what exactly about 4th you didn't like. For instance in Forgotten Realms I didn't like the fact that they advanced the time line by 100 years and how now all classes seem to have powers like in some kind of card game.  This is not a 4th edition bashing forum so please only your honest answers.

I was wondering if anyone had any maps of the town Nesme in Forgotten Realms. Also for all of you 4th edition players out there can you tell me what Nesme is up to these days and if Wizard created any new maps or information about Nesme. Or if the town is even around anymore? Any info would be great! Even if you created your own maps I would love to see them, Thanks. Jericho.
8  RPG Events / D&D Family of Games / Lokking for 3.5/Pathfinder players for game in berlin area? on: August 20, 2011, 04:47:19 PM
My name is Vince and I am looking for another D&D player to join my game.  We play Pathfinder now that D&D has doomed itself to 4th edition. We were playing Forgotten Realms but now we are playing in the Pathfinder world. There is four of us including John our DM. We would like to ad a fourth player as when one of us can't make it then we usually cancel the game. If you are a Mature Adult and live in the Berlin area and would like to join our game, then let me know. Our game night is usually Monday nights from 6:30 PM to around 9:30-10:00PM thou we sometimes change it to Tuesday or Wednesday if scheduling is a issue that week.
