I can be there on the 13th around 3:30 if you're up for a game.

Looks like Sunday is going to be a no-go for me. Holiday season is getting hectic and I am working Sunday night. Sorry about that. January will bring forth a much more open and available schedule!

Glad to hear you got in!  Next time I'm down, maybe my Trollbloods can take a crack at your Cryx.

Hey, Big Joe - that'd be great!! I've fought Tim's Trollbloods a couple times, but not with the Cryx unit I've settled in on. Trollbloods are really cool. They make for a fun opponent...and man that huge Troll is a tank!

I will not be in this weekend, unfortunately. Anybody want to play a match or two on Sunday, the 13th? Also, I will be in to play 1 of the matches the 19th...but I am completely in for the Steamroller on the 26th!

Not sure what the store can accomodate on different nights, etc...but I am avail usually every other Tuesday night and Saturday and/or Sunday afternoons/evenings...depending on scheduled family events or something. This month is going to be difficult because of the holidays. It seems like I have a party, or get together every Saturday for 3 weeks straight. I am going to try and get in on this month's regular games, but if not...I'd love to get some battles in on a Sunday. Also, when is the December Steamroller? Is the 19th official? Is it 500 points?  We have a great group building up in ATF and I am looking forward to seeing more of you guys and your armies.

Joe,

Is anybody playing hordes Legion? After the MKII Hordes rules are tested and the dust settles, I might do Legion as well

So, Jason..looking for a grudge match!? I will gladly comply. I suppose I'll have to battle Brian as well. I think all of his units have been put on a seek and destroy mission for my Cryx legion...December is going to be tough though. A lot going on each Saturday. Anybody looking to battle any Sunday afternoons?

I just got into Warmachine a few weeks ago and I am in LOVE with the game, the minis, etc...I was a long time GW player that got out of the tabletop stuff for a while. Recently, the bug bit me again and I yearned to get back into it. I was on the verge of committing to GW again, but then I talked to Ed and Brian...and I discovered Warmachine. Man, did I make the right decision!!

I am building up my Cryx legion and every piece is so wicked! I did a demo of the game two weeks ago and then jumped in and played an in store tourney that day (using store pieces), got smacked around a bit....played the next week (350 pts) with my own Cryx and went 1-1, and then played the steamroller (500 pts) last weekend and took 2nd! 2-1 on the day...so, it's a quick turn around on getting into it and being able to hold your own.

Great game, great company and a lot of fun people to battle against!!

We definitely exhausted just about every possible tie breaker rule!! I had my match against Jason go to a scenario based tie (even though I suffered NO casualties, heehee...had to put that, sorry Jason :]  )....and Brian and I, Retribution vs. Cryx, fought to a tie over contested terrain. Again, it came down to losses suffered. And my Cryx found Retribution souls to be rather juicy!

Mike's Retribution squad took me down hard on the first match, controlling the ridge (damn advance deploy), devastating my Jacks (damn Warjack hunting units), and smashing my witches with my own thrown Warjacks....but, it was a lesson well learned and I was able to take a new strategy into my next couple of games.  I think that the Witch Coven has made a name for itself...or at least a major annoyance, haha...

Thanks for the interest Darkblade...looks like the game is going to be on hold right now until some more interest drums up, etc. I'll post here if anything changes

Mozique
An ancient world in the crucible of rebirth. It has been a hundred years since the Arcane Apocalypse sealed the shadow rift and ended the Stygian War. The world was broken and from the ashes a new one has risen; forged in the primal essence of the arcane and shaped by the very nature of the raw elemental forces. It is a world struggling to find itself again. Old Kingdoms have rebuilt themselves, while new ones have been born. Entire civilizations lost and new ones risen. It is an age of discovery and growth. It is an age of war, where battles are waged for resources and boundaries. It is a world of wonder and magic, where the secrets of the past lay buried, hoping to be discovered and the future desires nothing more than to be forged by the hands of heroes. Will your name be recorded in the annals, placed in the Great Library of Harad for future generations to recount? Or will your memory be nothing more than a bleached skull buried under the frozen landscape of frigid Volsuung? The Gods cannot help these people alone...they need heroes. They need you.
I am looking to run a new campaign, in my own world of Mozique (pronounced Mo-Zeek). 4th edition. I have been playing D&D (in all of its incarnations) and probably 85% of the games that do and have existed, for 25 years. 97% of the time I have been the DM/GM. I am also a writer, so I am very character and story driven. I find it is a great outlet for my creative muse. Although I offer plenty of exciting and rewarding combat and conflict, I am not at all a "Hack and Slash" DM. I am also not a "Dungeon Crawl" DM. Now, don't get me wrong. I include plenty of tombs and "dungeons", etc, etc..but I don't do the whole room to room to room, haul out loot, rinse and repeat thingy. I like to strike a nice balance in the storytelling and, again, most of it is forged and driven by your characters. I am very descriptive and I enjoy the little details and nuances of the setting and your characters. It's a lot of fun. I try to be a pretty colorful and descriptive DM.
I would like to keep it to about 6 players max, but that number is not set in stone. All experience levels are welcome and I would LOVE to see new players come in.  I still remember the first time I saw a bunch of teens around an old picnic table playing Advanced D&D (remember that old PHB with the thief prying the gem out of the statue's eye!? Man, that was wicked!!) I am thinking of doing it every other Sunday, from 12-4. I know there is an ongoing game now, so I have to check with Ed about doing it the alternate Sunday. Start date is TBD, but I am shooting for Mid June. I would like to start characters at 1st level, because I would love to start forging your heroes from the beginning.
Please post here if you are interested and/or have any questions, etc. Feel free to email me at sixgunsandshadows@comcast.net with any specific character questions, ideas, concerns, etc.
I look forward to meeting some new players and building some great stories together!

   Thanks,
   Joe McGee

Ok, there are a lot of stories floating about as to how John broke his arm, but none of them are true. This is how it really happened...

[Camera zoomed out on the All Things Fun parking lot; quick zoom to front of store; quick zoom to front door. We see John's back as he fishes for the key to unlock the front doors. Cue Culture Club's "Karma Chameleon" covered by Disturbed. A shadowy reflection appears in the door's glass front.]

"We meet again John...or should I say, ToteMan."
John turns to face the speaker. Sunlight glints off of the key that hangs from the chain around his neck. He tucks it back into his shirt and smiles.
   "We meet again, Ms. Spears."
"The key please," she sneers. "I will have the artifact that lies within. Not even you can stop me this time."
John folds his arms across his chest and strikes a dramatic pose. There is a full minute of uncomfortable silence as a few tumbleweeds roll through the lot and the New Jersey Association of Clown Mimes reenacts George A. Romero's "Night of the Living Dead".
"No Britney, I am afraid you are wrong. Dead wrong."
John draws his black steel vorpal katana from some hidden scabbard on his back.
   Britney snaps her fingers.
   "Ninjas! To me!"
From nowhere and seemingly everywhere (does this make sense? No, but just go with it) a hundred and one robot zombie ninjas surround our hero.
"Now John, be reasonable. Give me the key and you live. Refuse me and...and, well, let us say that your fate will be worse than what I've become!"
John shudders but squares his shoulders and arrogantly lifts his chin.
   "Do your worst!"
   "This is madness!" she hisses.
   "This...is...All Things Fun!" John roars.
And with that, a hundred and one robotic zombie ninjas set upon John and his wildly dancing blade.
John summons the spirit of Chuck Norriss to power his inner Chi, and with the rabid monkey technique of the Wu Tang Clan, the battle is over quickly.
John, surrounded by the sparking, twitching, oozing bodies of his robotic zombie ninja assailants points his blade at Britney Spears.
"It is over," he says. "Just like your career."
She smiles pulls her deep crimson cowl over her head.
   "So it seems."
Squealing tires cut through the parking lot and a Ferrari skids to a stop inches from John and Britney. The door is thrown open smashing John's wrist and throwing him through the front glass of the store. John grabs his wrist, biting back the pain from the vicious attack and watches as Magnum P.I. steps through the smoke of the tires and exhaust.
   "Another time ToteMan. Another time."
Britney jumps in and the Ferrari peels off onto Route 73, fishtailing through traffic and finally blasting off into the air and off into the morning sky.
John gathers himself up and punches in for another day at All Things Fun.
