Holy cow. I just got an email notification that Loki had posted on this thread and looking at the date I can't believe this happened 4 years ago. We never did get to finish Wake's awesome adventure, and I still haven't broken in my copy of Trail of Cthulhu.

So, when and what are we going to play? Cheesy

It has been too long since I've seen you guys.  What's say we try to get an Independent RPG Club started?  Might be a great way to get you guys back in the shop.  Smiley

Hope all is well.

I would play a session of Cthulu.  Saturday afteroons, or Sunday mornings tend to work for me.

If we show up Ed, we my loss the allure of the Legendary Gamers.

I can see it now....your newest patrons sitting around the fireplace.  You know the one that replaced the Yu Gi Oh machine.  They talk of games lost...like Earthdawn.  In hushed voices they speak of gaming sessions involving chained monsters and knifed comrades.

"To be alive and to play in such a group," they wonder.

One whispers, "I hear one often wore a suit."

"What about Jared, the boy who had more lives than a cat," the short one in the corner laughs.

All the young gamers would question, "did those times ever exist?"

Ed pats one on the shoulder, takes a seat and warms thier soul, "Let me tell you of the day they first walked into my humble store...and how they changed the world..."

Thats how I imagine your day to day life is like at ATF.  I dont think we should ruin it by showing up and shattering the illusion.  We may have to come by under cover of night, or not dress up in a suit....robes?

Seriously, I'm ashamed at how long it's been since I've been by. I think my brother and sister have been in more times than me over the past few years, and they live an hour away. My schedule is all kinds of crazy, but there's no excuse for not making time for proper gaming!

Did my suggestion of NONE d20 system stuff go unnoticed?

I'm ok with some d20 stuff mixed in if the setting is interesting enough, but if you were referring to my Trail of Cthulhu comment, it's a Gumshoe based game, very different than d20. More investigation, less combat, all 6 sided dice. I bought the book 3 or 4 years ago and haven't had the chance to play it yet.

Most of the stuff I had suggested actually has NO d20 system involvement that means no dice and all roleplaying ill give you guys a link to a video from a con I went to earlier this month it should give you insight on the games I suggested http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtUgtX3ncTk
