The City of Heroes board I frequent has one of these threads going...

....

It's over 100 *pages* long, has over 1200 posts in it, and it's *still* going...  because it won't end till someone mod-locks it. Wink

BTW, what do you win? hehe.

Ohh I like these kinds of threads...being the board lurker that I am I always seem to get the upperhand in these.

Besides, it reminds me of the good old days of thread hijacking and drawing such an insane number of posts on the forums they looked more like chat boards then forums.  Kat, remember the days when we used to bring the server to it's knees between yourself, Wake and me plus a few others.  Ahh...those were the days.

Oh well...back to work for now Smiley

That was before Mike stuck her in the trunk and wouldn't let her out.

I should go check the stats to see what the post per day record is and see if it was one of our threads.

June 26, 2006 - 263 posts.

Had to be one of ours since it was before the "Great Archive Calamity" that laid all the good threads to waste.

Yeh I totally forgot about the whole database getting hosed and loosing all that stuff.  I had a boatload of useful information my my Star Wars threads that was simply vaporized.

I also forgot about the whole Kat getting stuffed in a trunk...ahh those were the goold old days weren't they Smiley

Those were the days weren't they.  I miss some of those threads.  I think if you look hard enough some of them still live on in the currest set (Ed and Dina's Las Vegas Adventure & one or two Earthdawn threads).

It could be worse, we at least still have the stats from all those many years ago.

Yes we do have the stats, and what impressive stats they were.

Now if we could just "get the band" back together and start up the hyperthreads again, we can show all these new folks what it means to post flood Smiley

They go something like this:

<bang..bang..bang..><muffled screaming>

"I'm sorry I can't hear you since you are locked in the trunk!"

Actually I was thinking more along the lines of discussing who gets locked in the trunk and when.  Like, do they do it in shifts, or does it correspond to work schedules?  How do they handle vacations, do they take seperate vacations, does someone have to be locked up at all times.  Granted a lot of the is probably muffled during the transition in and out of the trunk, but I was thinking more along the logistics angle rather than the practical aspects of the conversation.
