I liked it, I can see the benefits of playing both the co-op and competitive game. I'd like to try out the competitive version again now that I understand the game better.

I agree that both formats are good.  I think the co-op or possibly teams is best with 6 or more players, otherwise it can be a while between your turns.  With co-op you are more interested in what other players are doing since you can team up.

We played a competitive game with just 4 players (which became 3 half way through) and it worked well.  I got to call down a blizzard onto Alex who was winning and knocked him out.  That was fun :-}.  He still won though.

I still want to find time to play again. It is good that smaller games can be played competitively well. I was a bit worried about the down time. Although with more than one player at an adventure spot it can be a while to get through that part of the turn.

Bump!

Personally I found Fortune and Glory a good game.  I believe the larger the game, the more likely you need to play co-op.  I played a large competitive game and was so bored between turns.  By the time it got back around the board was so drastically different, planning ahead was useless.
