Because this part of the forums does not get that many posts, I have decided that the Miniskirt Army will support "Other Games & Such"! So come on guys. 8D What are your other games?

I'm a big fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer the board game.  I was pleased to see one going up on the Auction block at the ATF Used Game Auction.  It might even be enough of an incentive to lure me out to participate.

It totally should be. God, I haven't heard anyone talk about that in awhile... xD

We were introduced to the game by some friends of ours and fell in love with it.  So I had to jump through hoops to try and find a complete one on Ebay.  Since some of the pieces were really poorly made I'm always looking for an extra game just for spare parts.  I haven't played this in a while either.  I'd love to come down and play it at Boardgame night, unfortunately since it's out of print it's really not appropriate for BGN.

You could try to bring it anyway. I'm sure people wouldn't mind dusting off the ones they have sitting around.

I could, but one of the points of BGN is to promote sales of games from the store.  Playing out of print games the store doesn't sell doesn't help keep the lights on.

Yeah I guess. D8 It would have been exciting to play though...

Until the auction you should eb allowed to bring out of print games if they are either already in the auction or at the end of the night that copy goes into the auction.

I didn't even think of that.  Though I have no intention of putting my prized Buffy up for auction...if anything I'd be looking to pick up another one Smiley

There is one in the auction already, so you could bring yours to open board game night to "build interest" in the game aleady going to be auctioned off.

Yes I saw that, it caught my attention.  Unfortunately time doesn't permit me out to play on Wednesdays at this point or else I would.

Still I think it would be a good idea.  Will you be at the auction?

No doubt it would be, it's a great game to play.  Especially if you're a fan of the show.

Unfortunately we'll be away on vacation the day of the auction.  I was hoping to talk to Ed to see if there was a way to do advance bidding or some other type of proxy bidding in my absence.

I'm sure we can come up with an idea if Ed doesn't want to go and create an official method.
