We will also have to set up a time for character creation, background, system test and world information. I figure this can be a week night, since we won't need more than a couple hours. Once we get the time and date, others are more than welcome to come by and learn the game as well.

umm.. I've got the 7th as a firday, do you mean the 8th?
Saturdays look pretty hektic at the store according to their calendar, but i'm sure we can find spot to sit.
As for a pre-game get together, I'm available anytime this week after 5:00 except monday and friday.
Wednesday I'll be at boardgame night, but I'll be playing games
So really, that leaves tuesday or thursday for me.

There is usually some room to be found on Saturday. The events are spread out over the course of the day unlike the weekdays where everything is scheduled after 6pm.

Unfortunately as we had discussed yesterday Saturday's are not available to me presently. As a result I'm afraid I'm going to have to bow out of the Earthdown rituals for the foreseeable future.

You are right the 8th. I never learned how to use a calendar.
This week is out for a pregame. I have a short week since I am leaving for Florida on Wednesday. I will probably be putting in long days at the office to make up for the lack of time there.

I know Darth. Sorry about that. Week nights are just too hard for me to make a commitment to them. Who knows, maybe you will decide to give up the expensive habit that is minis, and switch over to Earthdawn

Such a dedicated employee you are
Any chance of getting you into Star Wars miniatures on Sunday now that you've gotten a bit of a taste of my own addiction

Ha surely you jest. I have more money invested in my mini's than I do in my car at this point I think. If I just as soon stop breathing as stop playing

Fear not, the end is not coming any time soon. At least not that I know of. You'd probably have to check with Loki since he's probably a master of the Mayan calendar...I think we have a few years left

You're telling. Can you imagine my horror in having to justify the expense of my collection to my fiancee should I decide to stop playing...especially with a baby on the way. I don't think I'd be long on this earth should that cataclysmic event befall me.
