Ancient One: Glaaki

Components: Base Game, Dunwich Horror

Points of Interest:

-Clue tokens appear as normal.
-Someone must take Calvin Wright as an Ally instead of a Unique Item
-Cultists have their will rating -3, 2 Sanity Damage and Combat rating set to -3, 3 Stamina Damage
-If there are 2 or more cultists in a location at the end of Mythos phase, raise the terror level by one.
-Any player may choose to be devoured to remove 3 Doom tokens from the Doom track
-If any investigator is sent to the hospital by a cultist must remove the cultist from the board and place it on his sheet.
-When Glaaki wakes up, any investigator with a cultist on his sheet is devoured.

Scenario 7

Investigators that wish to be sacrificed may do so in response to events. ie. If a card is drawn that would place the final doom token on the track, any investigator may "take one for the team" and remove the doom tokens before the last one hits.

Yes, that makes more sense.

After rereading the GOO and the scenerio, I noticed some interesting combinations.

Combination One:

Doom Track stars getting high so an investigator makes the ultimate sacrifice and is devoured to lower it by three. (Scenario Rule)
Raise Terror Track by two (GOO Rule)
Discard an ally each time the Terror Track goes up, in this case two allies (Base Game Rule)
Each time an ally is removed from the game place a Servant of Glaaki creature token, in this case two since two allies left town (GOO Rule)
If all five Servants are on the board Glaaki wakes up (GOO Rule)

Abilities:

Undead
Stalker - Stalker monsters move like normal (black border) monsters unless an investigator is in an adjacent street area or unstable location, in which case they move to that area.

Combination Three:

Cultist Rules:

Not only are the cultists tough, but can cause some serious damage to the pace of the game. 

On a side note, during combat with Glaaki everyone is devoured when the terror level is 10.  So cultists, and sacrificing yourself can get kind of hairy if you make it to the final combat.

How did it go?   I was unable to attend due to a wedding in the family.
