Arcane Legions: how much I need to spend?

I think I was told that to get all the units from one of the Arcane Legions armys It takes around $160. I could probably pay that but I was wondering if you need to spend all that to build a competitive army? I'm leaning toward Romans btw but might get Huns

Sounds like you are on your way.  You might want to look at the Booster packs.  They will have the painted rares.  If you get a bundle of them you'll have every piece from the faction.
