Hi, I'm new and really want to start entering Yu-gi-oh tournaments and come to store all together. Just one question, what is the deal with trading there? I already read your suggestions about it, but do a lot of people trade or what? Is it active or a rare commodity?

Hello!

We have a few rules in reference to trading.

First you must be entered in the tournament.  We have a large number of players in every event and we just can't allow players that aren't registered for the event.

We also ask that you trade farily & with people of a similar skill level.  It's not okay to trade a few common cards for a Super-Goober Ultra-Invso Rare just because a younger or less experienced player doesn't know the difference.

Be polite. (Shouldn't have to say it.)  Smiley

No selling on store property. (That includes outside in the parking lot.)  You can trade cards but cash CAN NOT exchange hands.  Anyone caught selling cards you will be ejected from the premises and asked to not return. (No warnings.) Smiley

The store sells Yu-Gi-Oh! singles and we purchase singles from players every Saturday.

We have one of the largest Yu-Gi-Oh! communities in the country so we see a lot of trading (everybody trades.)  So chances are over the course of a few sessions you'll find whatever your looking for...

Hope that answers your questions.

Thanks,
-Ed

No problem!  Our buyer for Yu-Gi-Oh! cards is in the store on Saturdays.  We really only buy cards we need.  (But we alwasy need a bunch of cards.)  Currently we aren't buying commons as we have thousands in stock. (Even when we do it's only for a few pennies an inch as commons aren't huge sellers.) Smiley

Thanks and I hope to see you soon!
