Fantasy Werewolf: Day Five

The morning sun greeted the remaining members of the party.  There was no corpse, no body to be seen however where Nameless' bedroll used to be was a note.

"I am weak, and I do not think we can win.  Forgive me for fleeing."

Loki and TheWake looked at one another and with a nod they set off to complete there task.  No words were spoken.  Ten became eight, then six, then four, and now finally, due to an act of cowardice, they were just two.  The hope of success was slim, but their ever-lasting will would guide them.

Following the signs, the two arrived at the werewolf cave at mid-day.  Loki broke the silence, "Regardless of what happens, it was an honour to serve by your side."

Solemnly TheWake nodded, and said, "Agreed."

Loki entered first.  TheWake a close second.  Sitting in the middle of the cave, beside a fire reduced to embers, sat the master werewolf.  His eyes empty.  His gnarled teeth stained with blood.  But that was not what distrubed the party.  He was wearing Nameless' tunic.

"You're late", the Werewolf hissed out.  "I was beginning to fear you would never come."

Loki had reached for his blade, but it was too late.  TheWake's teeth sunk into the back of his neck removing a better chunk of it.

"I am sorry master, but this one walked very slowly.  How was the appetizer?"

"Delicious."

"Good.  This one was not far off.  Before we came he said he was proud to serve by me.  Instead, he became served by me."

And the two werewolves cackled loudly.  Their laughter filling the forest and valley below. 

And soon they were joined by zombie-squirrel the first new minion of their army...

Didnt anybody find it weird that thewake jumped on and voted to kill the "self-professed villager". Oi Vye I really thought Dr. Loki would of figured it out. Thewake never votes until the last possible moment.

I voted for Wake. I had him pegged from the beginning.  All I know is if Wake or I am alive near the end, one of us is the werewolf. I only lived since I was proclaimed a villager. Alas....Time for the next game!

I have not voted at the last minute all the time.  There are times when I think I have it right I'll vote early to try to build support.  Of course this time I didn't have to work so hard to figure out who the werewolves were.  But then again eventually I had to be picked.  This is the first time that I was not anything other than a villager.  It was also much harder than I thought to select victims, both for nominations and dining.

Loki figured it out about three weeks/game days ago.  If you look he nominated and voted for me at least that many times in a row.  I thank his reputation for the players for not believing him.  Remember Loki is the Cultist of the Werecylon.
