Well, had my stress test and it wasn't good.  I will be going into the hospital probably on Tuesday right after the holiday weekend.  Apparently a portion of my heart muscle hasn't been getting enough oxygen and they have to go in (heart cath) to see what they can do and whether it will be an angioplasty or if I have to go in for bypass again.  My cardiologist said I am to rest and not do too much until I can get into the hospital so, unfortunately, I will not be able to make it this week or next week.  It saddens me as I was really looking forward to playing with you guys again.  But, once I get out of the hospital and am recovered, I will be there again, with bells on!

Again, sorry for the inconvenience and have a great time tonight!

I hope everything turns out as well as it can. Hopefully you will not have to get too much done. I look forward to seeing you back sometime in the next few weeks. Take care

On our way!  We'll be there on time more or less.  Sorry to hear, Glenn.  You'll be missed.  Get well soon!

Good Gravy!  Im gone for about a week and Glenn winds up in the hospital!  Blame the Invincible Overlord.

Yea, Glenn, please don't worry about it.  Get healthy first and then come back to us.  Gaming is better with healthy compatriots Smiley

Glad to see the game continues, everyone!  Im about to launch my 2-3 C&C campaigns with campers.  Hopefully they will be as cohesive as we are...but I doubt it.  Cause we are awesome  Grin

Howdy once again, all. Glenn, hope to be able to hear from you again soon, if possible. Let us know how things are going with you. Sending good vibes your way! So, I assume that Bill, Pam, and Rich are on for tomorrow night? I am good to go, myself. Can't wait to see how things progress in the City State after last week's game!

As for me, I may need to give Rich the GM/CK seat for the rest of the month, because as of today my job has really kicked in to high gear, now that I've been here for some time now. I am getting the word from my manager that things will be pretty intense this month, so there's the chance that I won't have time for much GM/CK prep. But that sort of works out well, since this is the last month we will have Rich in the area. So maybe he can take the next couple weeks to really push ahead with the Invincible Overlord before he departs at the end of the month, and see where we wind up!

Wes needs to get his butt back here ASAP!  Wink

Hope all is well, and hope to hear from all soon!

We should be there, unless something goes really wacky with work, but then I'll post in these forums if it does.  Glenn, we hope all is well!  We miss all of our players and CK's when they can't make it!

I should have no problem GMing out the 2 remaining weeks I have. Probably will not be there on the 27th unless the bar went really well the first two days

Heya again, peeps!

Sorry to hear that things have gotten super busy, Drance.  But, as I am sure everyone will attest to, we all appreciate you making it in when you can.

My C&C campaigns have finally begun for campers!  And, as predicted, they lack the particular nuances that make our Wednesday crew super awesome.  Lots of blank stares today.  And even more polite suggestions from the CK to make checks and to ask questions.  They seemed amazed that they had to ask questions when all their video game RPG's basically gave them the answers.  Welcome to the real world, kiddies  Grin

Sorry I haven't been able to make it out, gang!  And Im super sorry that Im missing the continued adventures of the City State.  Hope all goes well and that no one else dies in puffs of smoke.  Hope to make it back soon.  Missing the store and our Wednesday night hang outs.  Keep the magic alive!

Trollzah, everyone!   Keep on rolling

Hey Wes! Well you'll be very interested to hear what happened last night during the session! We will have to give you a recap, for sure. We are missing you a lot, and can't wait 'til you can make it back! We definitely were wishing we had Struan and his smarmy charm around last night! As for me, my issue at the moment is work kicking into a new gear. I'm just taking a breather and sitting the a player seat while I get used to the new speed of the job, but have no fear that I will be able to get back into the CK mode soon enough!

Can't wait for your return to our group, Wes!  Hope you are getting better, Glenn!  Pam and I put a recap for last Wednesday on the recap thread of this forum.

Rich, thanks again for all the adventuring goodness you provided for us for the last four months or so! You will be sorely missed. I think I can safely speak for the group when I say we had a great time in the City State of the Invincible Overlord, and you took us through some cool adventures. Come visit and game with us whenever you can! Keep in touch!

Thanks, this was the best in store gaming group I have ever had. It was also the store where the owner was most excited about having our game there.
