No Game This Week

I will not be able to make it this week. I managed to back myself in a corner with my exams so that there is no way to take my 36 hour long exam without part of it falling during our game time. Sorry about that, I messed up in my planning.

Obviously you guys can feel free to game without me if someone else wants to CK for the night. You made it back to the Silver Eel Inn OK so if someone wanted to do some side adventure or raid on the stadium slaves, that would be cool.

I will be back next week, finished with school, and free at last. I'll try to notify everyone through the contact info I have tomorrow

I would love to CK for you guys sometime, but I don't think I can do it tomorrow night. I've got too much on my plate at the moment to whip something up on short notice. But Rich, for future reference, if you ever needed a night off, I'd be willing to help out. Let me know. I'm not sure if anyone in the group has a thing for Dragonlance, but I've had a campaign idea building in my mind for a while.

As for tomorrow night, I'll probably take the opportunity to get one of my computers worked on and get some family time in. I'd hate to skip a week with you guys, but I know we'll be back strong next week. Maybe Wesley, Bill, and Pam will be able to keep the flame alive this week.

No worries, Rich.  Id prefer that real life issues were dealt with promptly versus coming to a fun gaming night with a cloud over your head.  So its ok, man.  Best of luck with the exams!

I picked up some random Troll Lord C&C campaigns last time I was at ATF but they have no impact whatsoever on the City State story line.  I have little experience being a CK but I do enjoy making ****e up on the spot if you guys wanna try to run a side-story campaign.  Something to keep us moving around and interacting with the city state but that wont interfere with Rich's plans for us. 

OR, Rich, if you would like, you could email me some random shops, encounter ideas, places of interest etc. that are around the City-State and we could run our merry band thru them.  Of course CKing and rolling the Illusionist may be difficult.  And since I don't have the map, these places may just need to be next to one another.  Unless there is an online map I can find.

Any ideas?  Everyone prefer to take a week off?

Hey Wes! Yeah, I think I need to bow out of tomorrow night, just to get some personal stuff done on my end. If Struan and the rest of the group (Wulfgar & Sefa) still sally forth, however, I would definitely be interested in hearing what misadventures you all get into...BUT don't do anything to Drance while I'm gone. Don't want to come back with his reputation further sullied by the antics of the illusionist...next you'll have him wearing a chainmail dress  ...no seriously, don't do that.

Hey, if you guys do get together tomorrow night, someone could definitely do a guest recap for my blog ;-)...(hint hint)

Thooooo apparently the C&C gods that be have heard about a game cancellation.  Just got a call from my work about my weekend conference group bumped UP their date to arrive so instead of showing up Friday, they are showing up tomorrow night.  So, as luck would have it, I am now unavailable to attend tomorrow.

Soooooo never mind THOSE plans.  Um...so it's up to the Druid and the Barbarian now 0_0  Sorry, everyone!  Hope the real world doesn't swallow us whole!!

Good to know!  Thanks for posting the cancellation notice on the forums.  We'll definitely miss having game night this week!  If needed in the future, I would also be willing to GM in a pinch if needed.  I'm still learning the system, but I can be pretty good at coming up with material on the fly as well.  I'm sure you'd love coming back to a bunch of 9th level feral characters!  Looking forward to next week!  Good luck on your exam!

Hey all. Sorry to report that I won't be able to make it this week for Wednesday night. Been a crazy work week already, but more importantly my kids' combined birthday party is this Saturday, and we are woefully behind in our prep work for that event. However, the summer's been pretty kind to us for the most part for getting together, so I fully expect to be back next Wednesday (the 17th) for some more action in the Forgotten Realms. Apologies again to the group. But let's keep up the chatter as usual. Everyone chime in if you can to let me know if you can make it next week.
