Well, unfortunately my parents just called and it seems that after 4 days without power they have decided to come down to our house tonight.  So, we won't be able to make it for tonight's session.  Sorry about that!  Have fun and see you next week!

No worries, Bill.  Jaimie, Anthony and I met up for a bit and just hung out.  Actually turned into a really nice/deep philosophical jam session concerning gameplay styles, various engine systems for Tabletop RPGs and a growing dislike for a particular book series.

So, all in all, it was fine.  Sorry your parents are without power still.

Yep, it's all good! Just gives me more time to devise some more devious plots to ensnare your characters. Seriously, though, next week should be a great session, I can feel it! Wes, Jamie, and I had a good talk, indeed. It was refreshing to sit back and sort of take stock of some thoughts regarding the hobby, etc. I think our group is actually in a spot where we've been hanging out for a while now, and it's natural that we'd want to get to know each other more. I mean, I see you guys way more often than I see my old friends from childhood/high school/college! I think you're a great bunch of people and I'm glad to get to know more about you.

Bill and Pam, are the parentals any closer to getting power back?

Howdy, pards! I am checking in. Hope to see you all tonight. As for me, I wanted to let you know that I may be a bit late tonight. There's a chance that, due to work constraints, I may not be there until after 6 PM (hopefully no later than 6:15). Sooooo, please someone nab a good table for us, either our usual one near the used book cases/bathroom or some other convenient place. Wes, you are usually there earlier than most of us, so this heavy responsibility will fall to you, most likely! Make us proud!
