Hey no prob! I was just letting you guys do your plotting and tactical planning as per usual. You guys are great at that!

Sorry if I seemed a bit tired by the end of the session, as evidenced by my total blank stare at Jamie when he reminded me of the fighting withdrawal rules. As it turns out, I guess I needed to do a CK clarification, at least for how I like to run things: your elven warriors hadn't yet engaged the retreating bad-guy elves in melee and had used their full moves for the round in question (so could not engage in any further actions that round). So when said bad-guy elves began a fighting retreat they were still in ranged combat mode and therefore were not subject to the rule regarding attacks on retreating foes or lack of attacks on the part of retreating foes. I'm not sure if that's any clearer, but I think it works out. My brain was so tired at that time last night I was unable to articulate what I was thinking. I apologize for being slow on the uptake/table ruling during the action.

Like Bill mentioned last night, the attacks on retreating foes and such seem to stray close to attacks of opportunity rules from 3E, and that makes me shudder.

Anyway, ultimately that whole moment was a blip and a non-issue. It was a pretty tense session, especially that big fight at the end. Great job as usual! Talk to you all soon (I'm using my limited math skills to calculate your XP for the session ;-)...

Great recap, Anthony!  And thanks for the solo shout out Smiley  And all it cost us was 5 NPCs...ugh

Sadly, I won't be there this week Sad  Meeting my little for the first time and working out a meeting plan with him and his aunt and my Match Specialist.  Have a great time this week, gang!  Roll for the fences!
