Hey guys, just a reminder that I won't be there tonight. I'm really sorry I have only been able to make one SW session, as I really like what Bill is doing with the Solomon Kane setting! I'm sure there will be more opportunities in the future for Bill to take us to Kane's world, though. Tonight I have another town watch meeting to attend. Yeah, we're going to hopefully decrease the BS going on in my town!

Anyway, I am on track to start up Labyrinth Lord next Wednesday night! The first night will probably be mostly about an introduction to the campaign, especially rolling up characters, an intro to the rules, and other stuff like that. Just to get us all oriented. I hope to get as much play time in as well, once all the intro stuff is wrapped up.

Anthony, sorry that you couldn't make it to our last SW session.  We missed you on game night!  Hopefully things are getting better in your town.  I had a blast running SW of Solomon Kane for our group these past few weeks!  We definitely have a great group, no matter which side of the GM screen you sit on!  Our interim adventure ark was wrapped up last night with the defeat of the evil Hag of Smirnov.  Thanks to the group's clever investigation, creative sorcery, trickery, and expert marksmanship.  You guys certainly surprised me several times particularly with your ability to figure out what was going on with the hag so quickly and from all different angles.  Everyone played their part well with our investigator finding inconsistencies in the timeline, using trickery in combat as well as proving herself a bold fighter, some really clever applications of spells from our sorcerer in addition to fooling a search party into thinking you all were a part of it, and the brilliant way he figured out that the vodka was drugged, our woodsman getting comfortable in his role as expert tracker and sniper for some pretty deadly results and our swordsman for pushing the NPC's to action and the story ahead through brash and very entertaining actions!  Thanks all for playing and for the opportunity to run a short set!  Keep your characters handy for use between regular games!  I am looking forward to Labyrinth Lord next week and see that you finally got your thread, Anthony!

Oops!  I didn't notice that there was already a Savage Worlds thread here in "Other RPG Events" from 2007.  I'll continue to post any information on our SW sessions on this thread.

If we are going to play a few sessions of SW over the next few weeks on Wednesdays, how would you guys feel if I registered one or two days as events on the SW Explorer's Society Website?  I was thinking of registering 07/11/2012 as an event.  We might get some freebies out of the deal...  What do you think?
