Sunday April 6th at All Things Fun in Berlin, NJ = I will be running a 40K Qualifier Tournament for the Colonial GT

The entry fee is $ 10.00 per player and will be paid out as store credit to the top players based on attendance. In addition I will be awarding one ticket to the first place finisher for the Colonial GT 40K Tournament on Saturday May 31st

This event will be capped at 16 players and I encourage those interested to register early - you can preregister at All Things Fun by paying the entry fee in advance ... the first to pay are the first to play

=== Warhammer 40k Rules ===

Level: 1500 points - painted armies are not required

Schedule: Three rounds at two hours each, using random Missions & Deployment

10:30 AM to 11:00 AM - Registration
11:00 AM to 01:00 PM - Round 01
01:00 PM to 01:30 PM - Lunch
01:30 PM to 03:30 PM - Round 02
03:30 PM to 03:45 PM - Break
03:45 PM to 05:45 PM - Round 03
05:45 PM to 06:00 PM - Winners Announced

Format: Highlander ( see below )

01: Only one codex = no allies, data slates, stronghold assault, escalation, or other outside material ...

Note: Space Marines may NOT use the Forge World approved Chapter Tactics.

02: Only one of any unit, this includes dedicated transports ...

Example: if you are playing Space Marines then you may have one Rhino, one Razor Back, and one Drop Pod in your list.

03: You must follow the force organization chart with the following one exception ... THERE IS NO MINIMUM REQUIREMENT FOR TROOPS.

Just to be clear - if you have a Tactical Squad and a Rhino, then both count as separate scoring units.

06: If your Codex allows you to take multiple units for one choice than those units must also be different ...

Example A: you may still take up to 4 Heralds from Chaos Daemons, but each must be of a different Chaos God.

Example B: you may take a squadron of Eldar War Walkers but each must be equipped differently

== Please note: Based on Rules #05 and #06 plus the examples above ... each Herald could be worth up to 250 points as they are separate units ... the total point cost of the War Walker squadron cannot exceed 250 points as it is a single unit.

07: Those units that do not normally count as scoring units ( e.g. Swarms etc ) DO SCORE for this event.

08: Flyers and FMCs ( Flying Monstrous Creatures ) will only score in Hover / Glide mode.

"... please feel free to ask me any questions regarding this tournament ... any questions regarding the Colonial GT itself should be sent via email to Mike Ludwig at ..."

Hope to see you there, and good luck !
